Comments:Came fishing July 30-Aug 1, 2009 with dad and 2 brothers as dad wanted a last HOORAAA with the boys. Frank and Margie, well they are a hoot and a half. Frank made sure we didn't wimp out on any fish while Margie kept the boat pin point on top of the fish at all times. The experiance we had is sumed up by there charter name Dream Fish Alaska. Thats what it was a dream come true fishing in Alaska. From the countless fish, whales, wild life and my first bear seen in the wild. Can't wait to see what fishing you have to offer when ya return back to Washington. Thanks for having us and for some wonderfull memories.

Comments:Frank and Margie were fantastic! We first watched whales bubble feed for over an hour. This was amazing. We then went fishing and caught over 30 Halibut (we kept 5 of them). This trip was the highlight of our Alaskan week. My kids had a wonderful time as did my wife and I. Margie and Frank are wonderful people and if you're in Hoonah you should schedule a trip with them. Comments:Frank and Margie, Thanks for the great time and awesome fishing. I have never been fishing and caught so many fish in such a short amount of time...let alone having all 4 poles reeling in at once...several times! Seeing the Puffin and whales in the same trip couldn't have worked out any better. Thanks again.

Frank and Margie are so warm and friendly you feel like old friends. Our 15 yr old had never caught fish like that and he can't stop talking about it! We highly recommend a trip with Captain Frank and Margie Byrd!

Comments:Our halibut fishing trip was outstanding! Marge and Frank were so welcoming and friendly and were 100% focused on ensuring that we not only limited out but that we were having fun doing so. The wildlife we saw on our trip was so exciting, something we've never seen before. We booked this trip through the internet and were a little leary, but everything was exactly as Marge had said it would be, no worries! We look forward to fishing with Marge and Frank again. Thanks again for the wonderful experience and memories.

Not only did we catch a limit in Halibut and troll up a salmon we were able to get some great photos of Puffins and nesting eagles. Your knowledge of that area and wildlife sites leads to a great photography opportunity as well as outstanding fishing. Best 4rth weekend ever! Smiles

It was thrilling to catch the big halibuts and great to have the story to tell when we got home. 600 lbs. of halibut in 3 hours. WOW!! Margie, the oatmeal/raisin cookies were great too! You need to send the recipe to my wife, Judy. Thanks for everything, hope to see you again someday. Bob Connelly

Comments:Capt. Frank and Admiral Margie, Thanks for being such wonderful hosts. When I tendered into Hoonah, I was hoping to at least get someone to take me out on the water. I could drop a line and at least say that I had been halibut fishing in Alaska. You two provided SO MUCH More!! Knowledge of the waters, great personalities, first fish on the boat 5 minutes after the first line went down (talk about knowing where to fish, I can hardly do that in my own ocean that I fish every weekend!!) 3 "Super Keeper sized" fish in 3 hours including the monster on your wall of fame http://www.dreamfishalaska.com/images/pict0489.jpg Added bonuses: Eagles everywhere, habor seals, porpoise, and Humpback whales. I am making my plans already for how to get back and spend some more time fishing in Hoonah with my new freinds. Hope to see you again Very soon, Tim

Comments:Capt. Frank Byrd and his lovely wife Margie are the best fishing guides in Alaska. We had a wonderful experience, especially since it was Reena's first time fishing. Frank took us to his secret triangle of Halibut and Reena was able to catch a decent size Halibut, while I was able to hook a sizable 25 pounder. We will be having fresh Halibut on our dinner tables for the next few weeks and will be reminiscing our great fishing trip with Frank and Margie.

Comments:WOW – what a great experience. I felt like I was fishing with an old friend. Frank and Margie treated my two kids (8 and 12) my wife and I to a great personal experience. The goal was to catch Halibut and boy did we. After 2 hrs of our 4 our trip our arms were so tired from reeling in huge halibut that we asked to go look for Puffins and Bears. On our way back to the cruise trip we ran into some fellow passengers that only caught one fish in the same 4 hour period. They decided to book a fishing trip through the cruise – big mistake. Go with Frank! He’s the best.

We hope to visit Hoonah again soon and hookup with Captain Frank and Margie. Gary & Donilla

Comments:Capt. Frank and Admiral Marge are the greatest persons you would ever want to take you fishing (say catching). You will have to rest occasionally from reeling in the Halibut. (even though I didn't rest, they called me the fishing hog). The scenery is fabulous and you may see every sort of wildelife. It is hard to imagine Eagles as an endangered species when they are such a common site. I could go on and on about the experence, but the best thing would be for you to experience it yourself. You will not be dissapointed. For a comercial plug of my own visit Kionawine.com
